From the Studio to the Stage

The Distant Cuzins performing at Mad Rollin' Dolls - March 2014Madison Music Foundry is full of studios: rehearsal studios, lesson studios, and recording studios. Most of the musicians, bands, and students using these studios already have played or are hoping to play a live show. So as a benefit to taking lessons at Madison Music Foundry, we've been working on providing more gigging and performing opportunities for this summer and beyond. You'll see Foundry students at Concerts at McKee in Fitchburg, Concerts on the Square, a Madison Mallards game, AtwoodFest, Monona Farmers Market, Jazz at Five, and of course the High Noon Saloon.

SEEKING PROGRAM IDEAS FOR THE FALL
Another way to keep things relevant is to ask you what types of programs you'd like to see at the Foundry. We are looking for requests for classes along with accepting proposals for programs from instructors. Click here for details.

DAY IN A KID'S LIFE
The Foundry participated in the Madison Children's Museum's event #DayinaKidsLife. We tweeted pictures of what kids were doing at the Foundry on a weekday of lessons. You can see all the pics here.

Cheers,
The Foundry Staff
