Rock Workshop Bands Participating in Launchpad Regionals

We at Madison Music Foundry are proud to announce that three Rock Workshop bands are participating in WSMA's Launchpad Regionals. They are: Lewis Street, Take the King, and The Distant Cuzins. All three will be performing at the Madison Regional at Sun Prairie High School on April 10.

The top two bands at the state finals will get recording time at Blast House StudiosThe top three bands from each regional competition plus one Wild Card will perform at the Launchpad Finals June 13 at the Sett in Union South on the UW-Madison campus. The top two bands at the finals will get recording studio time at Madison Music Foundry's Blast House Studios in addition to other prizes.

According to their website, "Launchpad is a statewide, alternative music competition for Wisconsin high school students who are in bands formed outside of the traditional music classroom ensembles. Launchpad and other Wisconsin School Music Association (WSMA) programs help young people discover and expand their full music potential."

We are proud to be a part of this program and look forward to hearing all the great youth talent from around the state!
