1,000 Lessons and Counting!

Dear Foundry Community,

We are heartened and inspired by the perseverance of our instructors and the drive of our students and parents who continue music education during this unprecedented time. As of this message our instructors have given nearly 1,000 lessons online since we closed on March 16!

In the meantime we are keeping Madison Music Foundry in top shape to be ready to open when the word comes from the governor that we can do so. Here's a message from owner Mike Olson:

Getting the carpets cleaned at the Foundry"While our instructors are at home working hard on their online lessons from the safety of their homes I’m working hard in the background making sure that when we are able to open the facility again we hit the ground running. While we don’t know when that will be, rest assured that we will be open again.

Taking advantage of the downtime this morning to get the carpets professionally cleaned.

Can’t wait to hear the bands rehearsing and all the students cycling through the lobby again.

In the meantime we are still checking emails and voicemails if you would like to sign up for lessons.  We can get you started with an instructor for online lessons and once we are open again to continue at the Foundry.

Miss all of you, see you soon!
Mike"

As of right now the "safer at home" order goes through April 24. We will be in touch as that date approaches regarding when we can reopen.

Your friends in music,
The staff at Madison Music Foundry
